Joyce University’s Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program achieved continuing accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) Board of Commissioners.
ACEN accreditation confirms Joyce University’s commitment to high-quality nursing education. The extensive accreditation review process, including a self-study report, site visit, and faculty/program evaluation, ensures the program meets rigorous national standards.
“This accomplishment belongs to everyone at Joyce University – our dedicated faculty, staff, and students,” said Joyce University Dean of Nursing Dr. Kelly McCullough. “The accreditation visit allowed us to showcase our core values of service, learning, integrity, caring, and excellence.”
Joyce University has received continued accreditation, earning the institution the maximum period of accreditation by the ACEN, with the next site visit scheduled for Fall 2031. Among Utah’s largest nursing schools, Joyce offers a full suite of nursing programs, from associates to master’s degrees, with accelerated pathways for students of all educational levels.
“ACEN accreditation demonstrates Joyce University's commitment to preparing future nurses with the best education,” said Provost Dr. Lynn Bilder. “It opens doors to rewarding careers and equips graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to serve our communities.”
