On October 25 and 26, 2023, Rosedale International Education will host the annual Global Student Success Forum & Rosedale OSSD Elite University Student Recruitment Fair, a two-day, free virtual event focused on cultivating student growth from high school to higher education. With an exceptional complement of global education sector leaders and changemakers, the three-hour Global Student Success Forum on Wednesday, October 25 is now open for public registration. The Rosedale OSSD Elite University Student Recruitment Fair is an invitation-only event for faculty and students within the Rosedale Global High School network across 17 countries.

Education practitioners and sector professionals in K-12 and higher education are welcome to join the Global Student Success Forum to connect, engage and participate in a diverse program with expert-led dialogue from pivotal voices in education and from leading global universities to explore student-centred and evidence-based practices through a keynote and themed presentation, panel discussions, and more.

Our Keynote will be delivered by Dr. John Molloy, Former Assistant Deputy Minister of Student Achievement with the Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada; former Director of Education at the Toronto District School Board; current Superintendent with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District in California. In his keynote, Dr. Molloy discusses his lived experience as an educator in both the Canadian and American education systems, his reflections on the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and its emphasis on competency development and differentiated learning, and will address the key strengths he believes every student must have to enter the next generation of learning and career pathways.

Our Theme Presentation will be presented by Professor Andreas Schleicher, Director of Education and Skills and Special Advisor on Education Policy to the Secretary General, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In this presentation, Professor Schleicher discusses how technology can be leveraged, and how it must not change the personal and relational nature of learning, and that ethics and standards must be adopted and understood. We know that the engagement of students by teachers is critical to student success, and that student voice, choice, and agency must be fostered to create new global leaders.

Two Panel Sessions include dialogue from university leaders across continents and on pressing topics in education, including: 

1. From applicant to admitted: Navigating the competitive admissions landscape of the world’s leading universities, with speakers from universities including: University of Cambridge, University of Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, McGill University 
2. Future STEM: Exploring the breadth of university programs that support careers in emerging and growth industries, with speakers from universities including: MIT, National University of Singapore, Imperial College London, University of Waterloo 

In its inaugural year, the Global Student Success Forum energized the international education sector and welcomed more than 17,000 attendees across 42 countries. Rosedale International Education is once again leveraging its strategic partnerships with leading global universities to offer the 2023 event for an expected 20,000 attendees from around the globe.
