A report released in late February by Boundless, an ed tech startup that makes open digital alternatives to college textbooks, details findings on the ways students today prefer to study and some of their biggest distractions.
The company surveyed 650 students while compiling the report, and some of its key findings are detailed in the infographic below. The full report, "Ushering in a Post-Textbook World," is available on Boundless' blog and shows that we may be closer to the end of print textbooks than some traditional publishers might be prepared for.
Additionally, Boundless CEO and founder Ariel Diaz, along with York College Dean and Professor Dr. Tracey Wyatt, will host a webinar on using open resources in the classroom next Wednesday, March 12, to mark Open Education Week.
