Gigaom.com reports that Ng will help to build out Baidu’s Silicon Valley A.I. Lab in Sunnyvale, CA. Baidu has three such research and development labs, including Sunnyvale, Beijing Deep Learning Lab, and Beijing Big Data Lab. Ng, an expert in machine learning and artificial intelligence, is head of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab and teaches machine learning courses on Coursera. Coursera will continue to offer his courses.
